Purbasthali
As we all are quite aware, migratory birds enhances the beauty of Purbasthali to a great extent. Being an ardent bird watcher, could not hold myself back, decided to visit over one weekend the paradise - a seasonal abode of migratory ones. Fortunately had spot some rare species while boating across horse shoe lake (Chupichar) for 7 long hours. Have manged to witness and capture few exquisite moments using my zoom lens. It goes without saying that this trip brought me a range of emotions - joy and excitement.

Sundarbans 2020
It's been a while since I first stepped out of the house after the lockdown. After spending the night in Sajnekhali Tourist Lodge, the next day we went to the jungle and after boating for a while we returned back. Crocodiles, monitor lizards, wild boars, chital, kingfishers were some of the things that we could see. Although we didn't see any signs of a tiger but more or less it was a nice experience altogether.
The boating seemed like quite a fun thing to do since it came with a lot of traditional food and the stories we heard along the way, from the guide was very interesting to keep up with the pace of the journey. Overall it was a beautiful and calm experience.

Lake Nakuru
I was an amatuer when I bought my camera. I'm still learning. Nature being my tutor. I don't know the technicalities but on seeing beautiful sights such as the one I saw at Lake Nakuru, I was blown. This is on the floor of the Great Rift Valley surrounded by shades of green and brown. Visitors are bound to be taken aback by the ecological diversity and the raw natural beauty of this place. Be it the picturesque ridges or activities like hiking, birdwatching or may be a picnic , it is a more than perfect location for the wanderlust soul.

Amboseli National Park
On 13th and 14th February '16 we spent our two lovely days at Ambiseli National Park. This beautiful place was just 72km from my Namanga site where I was previously working. This park is home to beautiful birds, African elephants, giraffes, zebra , blue wild beast etc. In the evening we spotted a herd of elephants crossing the road. We were both happy and scared to see that. Happy because of the magnificent sight and scared because we were very close to them. On the second day i.e 14 February which the world celebrates as valentine's day, we sat by the candle, enjoying the dinner and each other's quite company at Al Tukai's. Also, to forget Al Tukai's hospitality would be a sin.
